Emergency School Closures

In addition to as many practical means as possible (through the scrolling banner on this website, text message service to parents etc) the definitive listing of school closures is available on the Hampshire County Council website:

The necessity to close the school may be due to several factors - if weather related, it may be due to insufficient staff or inability to cover critical areas such as first aid. In addition, the school may liaise with the Infant School or the local Secondary Schools so that parents do not have to make or attempt to make, unnecessary journeys to one school if another is closed.
