Kidzplay- wrap around provision
KIDZPLAY
Breakfast and After School Club
From September 2022 wrap around provision will be provided on site for junior aged children. Our chosen provider is Kidzplay.
A message from Kidzplay.
We are delighted to be invited back to North Baddesley Junior School to provide a Breakfast and After School Kidz Club for the Junior children. We first opened in September 2006, and after a brief closure when North Baddesley Infants opened their own Club in 2020, the Juniors are now offering provision for their own children on their school site from September 2022.
Entrance to the Clubs will be the door in the playground to the Resources Room/Scots Pine (next to the pond area). Please DO NOT go through school reception.
The Breakfast Club
Open from 7.30 am until 8.45am and will be situated on the Junior site in the Resources Room/Scots Pine. Once the children arrive, they will be offered a variety of breakfast cereals, toast, fruit juices, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. At the end of the Breakfast Club the children will go directly to their classrooms.
The After School Club – Mini Session
Open from 3.20pm until 4.30pm and it will also be situated on the Junior site in the Resources Room/Scots Pine. The Junior children will make their own way to the Club- it is a safe and familiar walk through the building. Any child that has not been registered into the Club by 3.30pm will be classed as ‘missing’ and our missing child policy will be activated. No snack is included in this session, and late collections after 4.30pm will be charged at the full session rate.
The After School Club – Full Session.
Open from 3.20pm until 6.00pm. From 4.30pm the children will be offered a variety of snacks including, sandwiches, pittas, cold meat, cheese, battened vegetables, and fruit.
This Club is for JUNIOR CHILDREN ONLY.
As the parents collect their children at various times during the session, a sign out register is used to monitor these departures.
The Club will focus on indoor/outdoor free play, but will also offer a planned activity every afternoon, which may include cookery, crafts or sport. The Club will provide a stimulating and secure environment for the children which also encourages a relaxed and happy atmosphere especially at the end of a busy day.
Sessions can be booked on a regular or occasional basis; however, a registration form needs to be completed for each child prior to attending the Club, by using our online booking system, iPal. A link can be found on our website, www.kidzplayuk.co.uk
After school clubs (see school club page for more information)
On some days there are clubs running before and after school which may help with school day extension. Clubs do vary by sport/year group each term.
Our policy is not to cancel a club unless under exceptional circumstances. If the weather is poor, for example, we will switch to an indoor version which could include time in the ICT suite.
